"On his fourth birthday, Billy was diagnosed with Leukemia. He struggled through nearly two years of chemotherapy, steroids and side effects. Fortunately, there is now reason to hope. However, the cost of chemotherapy, medical bills, and our household debts resulting from me quitting my job to stay home to care for Billy, the thin thread that holds our family together was threatening to break.
